Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. The music she grew up with was traditional and old boleros, along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to sing and play music in the early years together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. In 2000 she moved to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she returned to her home in southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. She has been involved with a number of local projects in both teaching and performer, because of her love for music and arts. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
